MaMa Talks
Led by Julie Hurst ~ Founder of Herself Moms
Join Julie for a topical discussion designed to help Moms-To-Be and New Moms understand the unique developmental milestone’s that take place with their baby’s beginning at birth.
These mini-series are not to replace Survival Tools and Techniques or other newborn classes, but rather to relieve new mom anxieties with a greater understanding of Newborn and Baby Behavior.
Topic for this Mama Talk:
How to foster Healthy Attachment with your Baby
Attachment is the emotional connection children form with their parents or primary caregiver. Healthy attachment depends heavily on parent or caregiver behavior; it’s important that the process begin as soon as possible.
It is partly because of early positive attachments that children are able to develop and maintain healthy relationships throughout their lives.
The discussion will last no longer than an hour and will allow interaction and question time from moms.
